I learned that chemical fertilizer kills microbes when I had moles in my yard. It nuked the food web and the moles left because the earthworms were gone.If salt based fertilizer is used, it will kill off some of the microbes with each application. If you pay attention to the soil food web, no fertilizer is ever needed. The plant takes in what it needs as it needs it. True organic fertilizer is nothing more than organic matter. The bacteria/fungi release enzymes to break it down and they're predators (nematodes, protozoa, etc) eat the bacteria/fungi. At that point the nutrients are released at the roots in a plant available form.
never had reddish leaves... had some dark purps...Which is Organic?

It all comes back around to the food web. People that use Roundup, to kill their weeds don't realize that glyphosate, the main ingredient in Roundup is a bacterial food. When you only have bacteria in the soil, nitrogen is released in the form of nitrate, which is what weeds require. Fungi release nitrogen in the form of ammonia. By using things like Roundup, you set the stage for bacteria only, so nitrate is the nitrogen form your plants receive. So, by applying Roundup you are literally setting the soil up, to only grow weeds again and again. Put aerobic organisms into that system, and build your fungal population up, and the weeds die out. Nature has been growing and caring for plants for 3.5 billion years with no bottles. Plants don't need any of that stuff. People that tell you you do, are wrong and/or misinformed. As long as you have adequate biology you dont need to supplement anything at all. Microbes will take nutes from the sand, silt, clay, rocks, pebbles, and organic matter. Let nature do all the work for you. I have read countless articles discussing current agriculture methods (chemical fertilization). It takes about 3-5 commercially grown apples to have the same nutrition as an organically grow apple. Just another 2 cent input. Maybe some day people can find other sections to argue back and forth instead of trolling real conversations.I learned that chemical fertilizer kills microbes when I had moles in my yard. It nuked the food web and the moles left because the earthworms were gone.
ok troll....Nope. No butt hurt here. Just explaining my post to you since you're too dim witted to understand it.
I'm done. You are too ignorant to explain anything to.ok troll....

yeah your butt hurt from the minivan joke obviously... and it wasnt even towards you...
unless this is stow second account at his mamas house... LOL
WOW your a perfect example of a TROLL...Early in this thread you stated you can grow organic out of bottles and posted a link to an omri listed product.
I quoted it and stated that omri is worthless and doesn't mean anything.
As the conversation progressed you opinion that omri is worthless came out.
umm who started the name calling??? dim wit? nothing but hypocrites..You are a simpleton that can't understand simple conversation so you resort to name calling.
Fox farm soil/happy froggenuity- could you clarify
