i'd support those plants if i were you, i just went to check on my plants today and they were all knocked over snapped in half, split down the middle, you name it. kapoot.
Not one survivor. So take this is a lesson fellas, dont let your plants grow 8ft tall, and keep some support for the wind.:wall:

No way! Were you able to salvage many of them, or were they down for too long? You have a tstorm move through last night, or was it from the unsettled weather fri night?

Either way, bummer dude. Looks like I'm going to have to do something sooner rather than later, way too much work to lose em now. If there is any way to spin this positively it's this, your plight will save a few other grows, mine anyways.

Hurricane Ernesto went up the east coast and kinda of created a "Micro Burst" is what there calling it..anyways we had 100mph winds in my area that lasted for like 10 minutes..had my plants been better supported they might have survived. Don't get me wrong i went and picked them up and tried to hold them up but they were just dangling...i went home got some bamboo sticks and tape and went to town but its not looking promising at all. Lesson learned. To be completely honest if i even get a gram ill be happy, just so this all wasn't a complete failure and I can taste the fruits of my labor, ive never made it to harvest and even a gram would at least declare, I did it!

I have a sneaking suspicion that's a question that will go unanswered and shouldn't have been asked in the first place.

The cages look cool, but it's not something that can reasonably be done at this point. Thanks for the ideas though. Using stakes he should be able to secure most of it, if there is weather coming I think I'll just help him wrap it up with twine right above the "Y" to stop it from spreading out. He'll probably wrap the whole plant up in twine as well, similar to how they ship Xmas trees, and just unwrap it after a storm passes.
relax man, weve all heard the, "my buddy has a problem with his plant" story, and most of the time its simply the posters plants, no need to be paranoid here, so many growers on the rise in recent years, law enforcement arent too worried of the thousands upon thousands of small time growers out ther, and they arent gonna launch a full on investigation on anyone based on forum posts either. this is a place u should be able to open up with fellow growers, where ur identity is concealed behind your computer screen. understandable if ur paranoid after first joining, but this is a pretty safe site, just dnt put anything dumb up like n adress or phone number or something
