Sure to grow instead of hydroton

Can i use sure to grow instead of hydroton in my waterfarm??? Anyone tried this let me know of ur sucess or not THANKS..

Im pretty sure Sure To Grow can be used in place of every grow medium. cost about the same price as hydroton and i dont think its reuseable

Never tried it or seen anyone us it for that matter but STG Hail is suppose to be their replacement for hydroton. As far as it being about the same price that's just not true, especially if you consider that ton can be used more than once. STG is some expensive shit. It better be worth all the hype, for the price of the stuff.

i just saw it helps with algea and stuff and im willing to buy new every couple mths if it works better

and its ph balanced and wont clog up the drains and thats the waterfarms main prob from what i can see

ive used it in the past and it worked out fine for me. my set up was a dwc.
