Survellance????

Can anyone recommend any affordable user friendly survellance systems? (wireless cams that could be linked to my computer) For one it would be nice to have just because of my grow even though Im a prop 215 patient and legal. Two, some freakin tweakers (who else is up at 4am) broke into my ride and stole my stereo system last night. So Im looking into cameras, anyone got any info for me

costco carries a 14 infrared camera with dvr recording with motion activation, i bought one and love it you can even hook up a auto dialer to call you when a area has been entered

bro geta baby monitor that has night vision so you can hear and see, or get a rv back up camera that works just as fine bro . thats what i used and night vision is a plus with it man

Does anyone know if the 850 nm light being emitted from these cameras would interrupt the night cycle on outdoor plants? I've done a ton of research, but can't seem to find a clear cut yes or no answer...
