Sweet snake man that would freak my wife the fuck out!

Man those bitchs are bushy, and those buds sure are frosty, if they don't actually get bigger I'm gonna have to chalk it up to genetics. I've seen some of the Moroccan hash strains that grow and don't hardly produce any bud at all, but TONS of resin. There are a hell of alot of those little buds too, that shit is so dense.

I'd like to blame genetics but my friend grows significantly bigger buds in soil. Is my tray too small? Am I asking too much of four plants? I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm considering remodelling my closet into a vivarium for the snake.

I don't think your tray has anything to do with it man, and your plants seem very healthy. So your buddy with the same genetics has noticeably larger actual buds? Are his anywhere near as bushy, I wonder if there are just soooo many bud sites if its just taking longer for them to grow or making it hard for them to turn into larger buds. I'm not really sure man they seem to be more filled out then last week though. Its also possible that these genetics respond different in soil vs hydro I suppose. From the looks of the setup and how healthy they seem I would just try to get different genes next time. I'd be inclined to say that in its self could make a huge diifference. You should get less crazy stretch, and that will mean better penetration, and you should also just get some nice fat buds too!

If all else fails you will have some spectacular hash. I agree with TC though. I think there are so many budsites that they won't get huge but all together you might still have the same total harvest of smaller buds. I look at Puffs and think damn his looks huge but I have over 50 smaller colas. Don't quit though.. You have a talent to grow.. You just need a more controllable strain.

Bro, thats onehundred percent genetics. I bet your really scared right now thinkin youll get like six os. Im still guessin ten and if thats not good to pull a half gram a watt off of that low yielder then you need some magic nutes. As above, youll get killer hash, probly 30 grams worth on top of that or more, id say more for sure. I had two in my first run ever and one looked just like yours, shiskaberry, the other was train wreck and it produced double with a shorter smaller plant. I know your area so you should be able to find TW around there no prob. My plant that looked like yours went 71 days of flower so if i were you id be finding yourself some good high yielding genetics right now and doing it up right! The buds you get from that plant will be dense by the look of them anso dont hash any of them and when you trim just cut the leaves in half where you can instead of right off, or even just the tips. Those leaves will be covered, seriously covered in tricombes so theyre still good smoke. When your curing and theyre shrinking the leaves will just disapear and look like the bud and smoke like it too. Trust me, theres nothing wrong with your method, you just need to find the strain thats going to work for you, my friend in dirt grew shishka and it was chunky and mine had small buds, but way more heres a pic mid flower, i was shittin bricks too untill i trimmed up. Then i was smilin ear to ear

The shish buds never got any bigger, just more dense, the TW buds got bigger, way bigger

Im guessing your friend grows in soil or coco? Iv had similar things happen to certain strains when growing in hydro. Unfortunately all that inside stuff may be fluffed up pretty good, will be AWESOME for hash though!
Id say its just the wrong strain for hydro, not your fault. I also think more training would have helped allot.
Oh well, you'll be smoking good pretty soon Cant wait to see what you grow next!

Good scroging and the worst genetics ive seen. Dont worry, if you hurry in 2 months and 28 days you could have a foursome of power plants if you start some babealicious clones off in a quick minute. Youll be surprised though in a bit, trust me

Whats the plan for this?

I don't flush but I suggest everyone try things to see what works for them. In hydro though I would only flush for a few days, and that should do a fine job of removing any waste salts. How long do you plan on letting it go, 70-75 days?

I hope so, my lankey plant went 71 days and i got so mich more than i was expecting. I cant wait for the weigh in

Last time, I started flushing on day 53 and harvested on day 60. I liked the headiness of the high but my buds sorta tasted like shit. For this grow, I wanted to flush for two weeks and harvest on day 70, but after reading your comments I'm unsure about the flush duration.

I flushed for 10 days and mine tasted great from dwc. Well actually i put in 500 ppm 10 days out and then used plain water from there on to top up. Most important thing is dont over dry them before they go i to jars and the flavor should be great

Roomie the drying and curing is the key to good flavor and smell more so then the flushing IMHO. If you flushed for a week last time I don't think you'll notice any more difference by flushing longer. If you want to try to improve the flush you could grab a bottle of clearex, final flush or a similar product designed to remove any remaining salts and clean things out. I generally think the only time you need to flush is if you've over fed the plants. Do you remember how your last bud burned, did it leave nice white ash, or burn into black chunks. This can give you an idea if there was alot of nutrient residue from my understanding. If it burned pretty clean I would deffinitely focus on the drying and during to get the flavor and smell where you want.

How did you dry, trim, and cure it last time? Over the years I've tried a bunch of different stuff and I've had the best flavor when I dried the plants whole and trimmed them after drying, then began the curing process. This allows a nice slow dry, and gives the terpines a chance to mature into their full potential.
