You're absolutely right TC, I screwed the pooch on drying and then blamed bad taste on the flush (no0b). I hung the individual branches upside down in my closet with the exhaust fan on low for five days. They dried out way too quick. It was like trimming sand.

I'll pick a median flush period of seven days. Estimated harvest is in two to three weeks from today, March 6th. I'm not even going to post a picture because my buds are just embarrassingly inadequate. It'll take me two years to trim and three months to smoke. Yay!

Hey man all you can do is live and learn. I've had my fair share of poorly dried plants over the years. I don't get fancy about humidty meters and shit, so mine always turn out a little different, but now that I really know what I'm looking for they always turn out good. Have the buds gotten any bigger at all, and how much time will your harvest date give them total? I'm curious if theres any way it just needs more time to bulk up the way a sativa does. When I grew out some pure sativas a few years ago, they looked pathetic until prolly around week 7-8 they started to fill in, by week 12 they looked fantastic.

Ill cut you roomie, ive been here way too long to have you give up. I want pics jerky brown, they wont be that bad. They wont be bad at all. I went through this same shit and then pilled 9 zips dry of the scrager one. Youll hit your mark, dont worry so much. Just dont trim all the leaf off. Trim it half way because theyll have so many tricombs on them. And dont worry, theres buds under there, trust me. My friend wanted me to hash that whole plant. I said fek you cracker and trimmed all those buds. Best choice ever. Youll see, got any more pics, i wanna see again how bad this is. Put a lighter up, it cant be that bad.

Day 51

I never thought this round would actually turn out worse than my first grow. Seriously. I upgraded from 300w LED to 600w HPS, added a two-part bloom booster, grew four plants instead of five, took care of all temp and humidity issues... these buds are undeniably smaller. My god in heaven.










At least I'll get some top grade oil out of the ordeal.

And some bitchin hash, are they solid?

Well I'm glad to say they deffinitely look bigger then the last pics like twice this length I think.

I don't know if I've said it before, but I feel like the number of overall stems could have alot to do with this bud formation. You have a tremendous about of stems in a small area. Now they are getting much better light then last time, but I bet you may have twice as many stems as last time too. You will definitely have a TON off killer hash, or oil off these plants. I think your best bet on getting the highest yield possible would be to give them an additional 2 weeks beyond when you were gonna harvest, and I bet you'd notice a difference. It seems like I remember them taking awhile to really start putting on flowers in the first place so they just may not be maturing as fast for some reason or another. You gotta figure all the time frames we put on these plants are subjective to the conditions and genetics and such.

I was just thinking about you guys. It's been a crazy month at work and there's really nothing to report - I've effectively grown a ridiculous amount of really frosty pot stems in my closet. That said, I've been looking forward to seeing your grows!


DAY 63

The plants just got away from me. If the branches were 8 inches above the screen instead of 14", I'd be laying on a sea of fat buds....

One thing I'll add is I don't know if you've ever seen the plants they grow in places like morraco. They literally have hardly any bud on them, and are breed that way. They are solely used to make hash, since many places in the world they don't smoke weed, they only smoke hash. I have been making hand rubbed hash the last few days as I've been trimming my last harvest, and with little effort other then trimming, I've gotten almost 3 grams of hash. I watched strain hunters nepal the other day which gave me the idea, its really simple, and makes the best tasting hash I've ever had.
