Suthrngrwr's Selections (and the adventure to find them)

Just cut the plants down and hung them to dry. Each of these plants could be considered a keeper for some growers. I won't be keeping cuts this round as I don't have the time (or the space for mothers) to maintain a clone collection. Next round is already above soil -- Greenpoint Seeds' Pebble Pusher { Fruity Pebbles OG x Stardawg } and my chuck, Peaceful Chem { (Cookies & Chem x Stardawg) x Peacebringer (The Deputy x Pure Power Plant) }.

Quick picture-less update:

Keeping busy with life and the grow. Eight of the Peaceful Chem seedlings have progressed nicely, growing with vigor and resisting the stress I have placed on them. High VPD, wet root zones and fluctuating pH had halted the growth of the Pebble Pusher plants, however the Peaceful Chem plants shrugged it off and have expanded their roots enough to resist these small issues.

Getting interesting aromas from the stem rubs on the more mature Peaceful Chem plants. Several unique phenotypes from what I have observed thus far -- roughly 3 of the 4 phenotypes are exhibiting very tight nodal spacing and strong branching. As long as cannabinoid production is on point, we'll have plenty of keepers to choose to run as clones next.

Peaceful Chem #6 male (shown below) exhibited the tightest stacking between the 3 males (7/10 females), the most vigor, resistance and best stem rub. I'll be running him through flower until week 6 or so, just to get a good idea of all his qualities.

Pebble Pusher in week ~6 of flower:

#5 has Fruity Pebbles OG dominant nose with Stardawg background. Beginning to show more color.

#2 is looking to be the keeper. Balanced FPOG and Stardawg nose with nice hybrid structure.

#10 is nearly all Stardawg in aroma. Starting to turn purple too.

#4 has a unique aroma: sharp lime zest flavored chemical cleaner accompanied by earthy, gassy funk. Stayed shorter through stretch, seems to take after the FPOG mother with most traits.

Peaceful Chem #3 and #9. There are 2 other phenotypes which were slower to initiate flower and are in the 4th week of flower. More pictures to come in 3 to 4 more weeks.

Peaceful Chem #3 is the outlier. She looks like a dead ringer for Chem 4. Same aroma profile too -- citrus chemical cleaners and piney, skunky funk. Extremely resinous.

Peaceful Chem #9 is a balanced representative of Cookies & Chem and Peacebringer. She has a sweet floral aroma with a creamy, wild berry finish. Very sticky sugar leaves.

Started transplanting the next round of seedlings! Here's what we have underway: Lemon Slushee #2 x '87 Lime Pop (Theseedsource freebie), Monkey Bait (Cannarado freebie, GG4 x Apple Juice), East Cake (Cannarado fem, Wedding Cake x TK91), Sundance Kid (Greenpoint Seeds reg, Sunset Sherbet x Stardawg) and Toga Party (Cannarado fem, Animal Cookies x Orange Cookies).

Two of the East Cake plants are quite vigorous, as are the Lemon Slushee #2 x '87 Lime Pop. Several of the Monkey Bait plants are keeping up too! Unfortunately, two of the Toga Party seeds did not live through germination / early seedling. The remaining plant is growing quite slowly...

Previously mentioned plants have been pinched. Harvested my #10 Pebble Pusher plant, which could have gone another 6 to 8 days for peak ripeness. Making room in the tent for the larger Peaceful Chem plants to get more light. These things are stacking bud sites like crazy! Rest of the plants should be coming down between 11/11 and 18/11 for ~10 weeks flower time. Nug shots soon! Harvest photos going up in a few weeks.
