Decided to try some sweet potatoes before, I wanted to do it last year but it never materialized. This year we made it happen, ordered 200 slips from George's Plant Farm

Got the slips 5/30
I was taking pictures every few days, the lastest one is today (6/23). They will need to be transplanted soon. Also, there are my hydroponic tomatoes, using 100% coco coir in a few of the shots.

Wow, that's a lot of potatoes. Definitely interested in seeing how this goes for you.

Good luck.

I expected a garden bed not pots :P
Or is that where they are going when you transplant? Also they'll try to spread like a ground cover- if you are keeping them in pots are you going to prune them to keep the spread down or just let them sprawl?

yes, I am transplating them hopefully in a few days now. Here is a picture taken this morning. I will be using a bed/row type setup as planned, and give them extra space to grow into.
