Swelling Buds

Hi there, as I'm still learning and reading a lot, I know my buds are not reeady. but cant figure out if the sweilling part ahas begin on my plant. This is an auto-cheese grew in a 0,75 gallon pot. This is my first grow as auto-flowering strain and my 2nd grow overall. I had some issues with the grow with potassium deficiency thatI was thinking of nute burns soI stopped to feed 1 week and the problem was more intense.

So can someone like BK 78 or others that can give advices and tell me if the swelling is to come or already happened please will help me... Im at day 59 today from sprout so I now there still around at least 2 weeks to go.. maybe even better but just want to know is the buds will get fatter. this was showing sex at day 28

This is the beginning of week at D63 since the sprout. Just to let you know, a friend told me to cut the fan leaves a week ago.. they were really sad to see. @bk78 Do you think this will come to an end even if the big fan leaves are gone forever? they were falling alone anyway days after days. I tried to get a shot on trichomes but the pics are not that good. once again, I want to know if they are still in the right direction? Forgot to mention: this is cheese auto from canuk seeds...

Just noticed too that my nutes are to be given once every other watering.... i gave every time ... Still learning. What about flushing when using botanicare / dutch science nutrients?

You estimate still 1-2 or 3 weeks or even more? Many thanks all for the comments

Trichs on leaves mature a lot faster than on calixes and they're not a good parameter to look at..

They look awesome!

I'm quite a newie so I wont attempt to estimate how much you have left...

Here is a follow-up since I'm entering the 11th week of this grow. AS mentionned above I cut a lot of fan leaves per the hints from a friend... not sure it was a good idea. Now lets look on the buds to see if swelling is good enoug for you. I write here every weeks to be sure ill not go too far on flowering.. but ill chop only when we think it is ready to go... The leaves look sad I know, but here new pics from the cheese auto .. a freebie from canuk seeds.

I started use water cuz the soil is quite acidic and got way more ppm than I expect.

for my other grow, I started monitor soil ph and ppm more often so i wont go anywhere near this grow.

Thanks for advices and as I said, I'm not in a hurry to chop, but with the acidic soil, no fan leaves almost and the thichomes getting somewhat cloudy I prefer post more often than not enough.

Dont judge myself, thats my first indoor grow and my first auto.. and second grow overall

everything constructive is always good and I keep reading on this subject everyday

next pics are on calyx or base of pistils: nothing on leaves.. i chopped on a bud the top of the bud to be sure I pic only calyxes..sorry for blur pics. the base where the pistil joint the calyx got more amber trichomes than the calyxe itself

I'd say it looks like the window is open, but that another week would probably finish it off perfect. You can easily see from the first pictures on this thread until the newest that the calyxs have fattened up and are more swollen. You can also easily see that the buds are now starting to sag with weight as they are getting denser inside.

Let her grow, l start count week 2 or 3 whenever buds crown 80-85 days from flip, the more mature the better the weed, let calyxs swell and hairs shrivel. They do get bigger, leaves will die, or you will pluck them. It all happens in time. Most sày 65 days, add 20 and youll be closer to ripe.

Im at day 78 since germination. the plant drink less water than before. but seems to have some room still to grow and to make more cloudy/amber trichomes. Ill let her go still. This is only an update and same time here are some pics. The blur trichomes pics were taken on a lower bud site as @Southernontariogrower mentionned.

Another newbie question: when the breeders tell that auto are ready in 8 weeks, do they talk from flip or from germination?

so what I understand is that im still far away from harvest. It flowered at day 28. so now at day 78, im only at 50 days into flowers, so nearly 3-4 weeks for the ripening of the buds right? I completely misunderstood de auto-flowering strain :wall: ..

here is a pic at day 28. so if i count from there the around 80 days, im far away.

im only afraid that my gilrfriend send me outside soon cuz everytime she enters the house she tell me how the hell it stink in the house lol.. 30 more days? i told her since 2 weeks that nexr week ill cut it :clap::mrgreen:
