Switch to 12 12

does it matter to your plants whether you switch from 18/6 to 12/12 by making the "sunrise" later or the "sunset" earlier.

I dont believe so.
Some people including myself change the cycle slowly over days.

I try to give them more dark time but I don't think it matters much. I guess weaning them down to a 12/12 would be 'best' but I've never seen any ill effects by just throwing them in the flower room.
