Switched My Light From LED To CMH Now I Have Problems?

Hey guys I switched from a 600watt led light to a 630watt cmh light and now the plants look like shit! I did not change anything at all. The plants are in autopot system and the rez still has the same mix in it before i got the new light 2 days ago.

The leaves are all droopy and the ones plants is getting brown spots all over the leaves and turning yellow! Both plants are in flowering

Please help!!

Looks like the start of The Claw aka Nitrogen toxicity, IMO not the lights fault.

By 600W LED do you mean a purple ebay/amazon light?

That plant looks like it's getting too much light now

Hardening off a plant takes more than two days and blurple lights tend to make the plant a fake green
Just let it roll it will get used to the new light and congrats

I am changing my rez now. going to lower the nutes abit! should i give the plants a good top flush with ph water?

This grower has over everythinged in every way over time from time to time. Now. Move away from your plants and just run normally for a few days while feeding lighter.

that's ^ exactly it, the saem as taking a plant from your house and putting it out into full sun, they can't take it, you have to harden them off. i'd cut my lights down to 14 hours a day for a few days, then 15 for a few days...work them back up to a full day....

I just cleaned my rez it was time for a change of water. I did a lighter feed. But wondering why the 1 plants leaves are getting all brown now and the tips are curling.

You started that issue long before the light switch

It never goes away the LED light made it look less obvious

I'm assuming you didn't actually have a 600w led so you at least doubled your light output your kinda screwed since you changed during flowering just finish the plants hopefully you can get an ok yield.

You probably locked the nutes out when you had the led now they want twice as much nutes because of all the extra light but you cut back on nutes making the defeciency worse. I would recommend feeding with some beneficial micros and normal strength nutrients.

It’s simple shock the drooping is at least. Cmh is a whole different animal compared to those cheap leds.

Still drooped and now my plant with no brown spots on the leaves started to get it lastnight. the other plant that had lots of brown leaves also has started to turn yellow. I added some cal/mag to my rez this morning as i did some research and it said cal/mag def will make the plants wilt. Lets hope this fixes the issue!!

So in the past ~72 hours, you've changed everything the plant knows except it's location? Step back. Don't even go into your tent for 2 or 3 days. Any additional changes are just going to compound the stresses the plant is seeing.

Changed the rez the other day because it needed to be changed. and just added cal/mag this morning because overnight the one plant got alot more brown spots on leaves and the other plant that had no issues other then wilting started to get brown leaves over night. Looks like the plants are starting to purk up abit and some of the yellowing is gone out of the leaves. Not going to go in the tent no more going to see if this cal/mag works!!

What is the temp of the water?

water temp in rez is 67F. The plants are looking better now sense i added cal/mag this morning
