Switching from soil to coco. Pot size?

Been growing in soil (Detroit Nutrient Co. Water Only) for awhile. Great results, but would like to speed up my veg time. Currently using 10 gal pots.

If I switch to coco and nutes (Gaia organic), should I continue with 10 gal pots, or could I switch to a smaller pot such as a 7 gal, and get similar results?

Would like to hear from those who've grown both ways. And no, I'm not interested at all in going full hydro.

Normally you can use much smaller pots with coco because of the frequent feedings......I use a 2.5 gallon pot.......but I don't know using dry amendments.
Why not ask Mr. Canuck?
Good luck using that method.......I've yet to see a successful grow using this method.

i use a 5 ltr pot at a 3 time a day feed

The OP is using dry amendments.......he won't be feeding daily.

Not sure you will speed up veg attempting this kind of media change, pretty much a lot could go wrong to start.

Appreciate all the replies. So it looks like this dry amendment/coco method is not very common. I think what I need to do is a test run with a couple pots and see what happens...

Coco works best treating it like hydro. It doesn't matter what some yahoo on youtube is doing with dry amendments and coco.
