Switching to solventless. Need bubble hash help.

On the edibles or oil don't forget to clean the butter / oil. Re- adding water to it and simmer and strain and place in the fridge for a few hours then repeat several times for a week. To make sure all plant material is removed. Also decarb material in the oven before making butter / oil. Cook at a much lower temp for longer. For some reason hash doesn't seem to degrade at high temps. I haven't gotten it tested. But I still get high off pizza cooked at 500 degrees.




I make an awesome streussel apple cobbler or blueberry one medicated . Still perfecting the medicated versions. I will share recipe once i have ir perfect. I also make a medicated tomato sauce for pizza and pasta. For the sauce I use hash though.

Basically follow any recipe you can find. Substitute half cannabis oil / butter and the rest normal butter / oil. For flavor. You don't need all ganja butter. It's very concentrated. It's 2 tbsp of coconut oil to 3 tbsp of butter because of the fat content. Keep that in mind.

In my recipes I use unbleached flour or sometimes wheat flour and coconut sugar (it doesn't spike glycemic index like normal sugar ), and coconut oil. I have a good brownies recipe. I prefer to make meals or more flavorful desserts.

I make some awesome pancakes and waffles too. The syrup is the medicated part. I make any syrup. The key to a good syrup is use half the amount of water as you do sugar. Like 1/2 cup water, 1 cup coconut sugar packed , 1 cup blueberries. . Simmer the water and sugar til it dissolves then add mashed or pureed berries and simmer to a boil. At the last 10 min add 1 tbsp of medicate oil. Then remove. Store in a jar in the fridge and will be good for 6 months

You can store oil and butter in the freezer for a long time at least a year. The oil will be good in the fridge for a year too. Butter. Probably not as long.

I've been working on medicated ice cream too. But haven't perfected it yet. My best was dissolving hash in hot honey then letting it cool. Before adding to mix.

So I was kind of thinking the same thing the more I thought about it. I should use all the trim and sugary bits to make some good quality hash. Now you emphasized the need to properly store and cure both ice bubble and dry sift as well as a dry ice Shake N Bake method (I just coined that just now Do Not Google that you'll get a totally different how to)

I had one of my best rosin presses yesterday and I've been keeping it in the freezer but it is very sappy. It was a good low temp high yield press, no smoke from the press. I actually got to use my press.

I recently switched to solvent less myself because I was tired of spending on gas & then vac purging. Bubble hash requires a bit more discipline & planning yet it's so simple. It takes some practice to work the bags correctly; watch bubblemans or frenchy cannolis videos if only to see their bag pull/shaking technique. You want to pull the bags off with a solid piece in the bottom.
I'm also working on my getting my hash game tight; here's some tips that helped me:
I am getting nice clean extractions running the material after hang drying the entire plant(s) for 4-5 days. I have been leaving the buds whole with trims still attached to lessen the chance of green leaf contams breaking off. Material dried til the insides are still a bit wet is better than crumbly dry.
I found using an electric seed blanket as a drying rack works well with a piece of cardboard under the parchment; stays warm but not too warm & dries the hash to the bone overnight. I think you really do need the zester hyroot suggests; I got mine at target for $12. You want it to be super fine to plane the hash to almost a powder. I have been using a dry clothes iron on low to press all the full melt hash into like a shatter. Just fold the hash in a pocket of parchment & pass the iron over it lightly...it takes about 4 secs & ya got dabs. I prefer to freeze & re-plane it after pressing to pick up & dab easier or pack my vape pen for the road. Plus then you can easily top your bowl full of dank with delicious hash- yummy. I started doing just the bottom nugs & trim but now I do whole plants; well when they get all seeded out anyway lol good luck happy hashing
