Switching up lighting for moms.

Hey all, I am currently growing some moms for future cloning. They are 4 weeks old and are under a 600w sodium 24/7 for a faster climb to vegetation maturity.

Once they reach the ideal height and maturity. I was thinking of placing them under maybe 300w CFLs, on an 18/6 light cycle.

My question is, will the moms be upset?

They will like it just fine. I keep my mums under a single 300w 6500k CFL. I grew my moms from seed under this light, kept it nice and close and got v little strecthing.

Ok cool, thanks for your input. I was worried that if I go from a 600w sodium 24/7 to 300w CFL 18/6 that they may want to flower.

No you will be good, plant wont want to flower until it gets 12 hours of darkness on a 12/12 schedual, for example.

Ya i don't see any problems, unless if you shorten the time
