switing to 12-12 a few questions

ok so i plan on switching to 12-12 tonight with my 3 platns,ak47,special kush number 1,and LSD.do i need to do like 24 hours of darkness then jump into 12-12 or just go 12-12 str8 up,rep for help

i just change my timer from 18/6 to 12/12 no extra dark time

Go straight to 12/12. Give them a strong dose of Potassium and some Phosphorus with it. If they get enough K when they start flowering, plenty of fresh air day & night and there are no light leaks, you can see preflowers in as little as two days.

one quesiton about light leaks,my closet door has to be open duriong lights on,and its only open a crack is that ok?the plants r growign very good and very healthy,will give them a dose of nutes and shit too.thanks.let em know if that will be a problem,thanks to u both!

I in J.cervantes' grower's bible that switching the light off for 36 hours give the plant a sure sign to begin flowering, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out a scenario when this would necessary.
