Syfa's Grow - Starting 1st week of flower

Ok, this is my first grow. Seeds were some i got off my bro which i planted 15. Picked the two best looking which happened to be the same strain. I transplanted to the tank 3 weeks into veg and switched from the fluro's putting them under the new 600w HPS that had turned up that day from ebay. Was lucky to get two fem's out of the two i picked!!!
Been using GH's 3-part, superthrive and started to feed them koolbloom now that the chicks are flowering. They're drinking the 40 Litre rez down to the pump in 4 days. Gotta luv a girl that can drink!!!
Just gotta get Molasses and add that to the mix.

Will be purchasing Diamond Nectar tomorrow and that'll do it for the nutes. I starting using koolbloom first week of flower but after reading a few peoples post seems i'm better waiting till 3rd week and feed to around 3 weeks till harvest...would this be right?

The top leaves closest to the light got a bit baked today. They grew a inch to much so i've upped the light and placed a brick under the fan so it now aims at the cola's. Should keep temps back down. The ladies seem to be able to handle the bulb 11inchs away i just gotta stay on top of it each day and adjust it. Also did a rez change today and went some wat aggresive with my nutes. Ditched the Grow nute and superthrive, now i'm just using gh micro/bloom, kb and diamond nectar which i just got 2day. ppm is at 1300...we'll c how it goes

I use koolbloom but my medical patient i grow with is actually responsible for most of our ferts, so i'll talk to him about it and get back to you on that one. What are your temps at?

the closet is around 28"C during the day but drops to 12-16"C at night. water 18-22"C day and 11-16"C. I'd like to put a heat mat for the rez but it's a one off grow til i move. Then i'll build something more perma

Well im a little rusty with my Celsius temparatures, but from what i remember that sounds pretty good, 28 might be a little high, but nothing harmful, but your low temp is great, right where i want mine actually. I'll still get abck to ya on that coolbloom

Came home from work today and the ladies seem to be handling the nute mix which sits at 1300. Consists of 100ml GH micro, 200 ml GH bloom (came to 1100, 100 mls koolbloom, 80mls Diamond Nectar (1300ppm) and a few drops of superthrive which i added this morning b4 ducking of to work. Was stressing all night that i might fry them.

Well i decided today that i couldnt stand seeing all that light go to waste so i put up some panda across the two cupboard doors and laid breaks against the doors to hold it tight. Cut a hole in it for the fan to blow fresh air through and theirs a hole above the doors to let the air out. Plants have stopped skyrocketing and have started to fatten up. Still holding up fine to the new nute mix.

Now that i've looked at that picture i might put a piece of panda across the top of the door

Well the girls are starting to show signs of some fine budporn. Had to drill a few new hooks in and raise the light up almost to max height so i'm hoping they dont grow to much higher, i might just get away with leaving them in the closest area with all that nice reflection going on. Could always tie the highest cola's down a touch..

Brought some Blackstrap Molasses yesturday and added 1tps per gallon. They seem to be luving it but the rez has gone very bubbly and there's now a white substance building up on the edge, along the water line. Is this the norm? Aint to concerned for the time being, as i said the plants seem to be responding sweet but just worried it could effect them long term.

anyone got any answers about the Molasses?

Been almost a month now since last update. Well, the girls have grown way taller than i thought. i had to move them out of the closet cuz the tops were getting burnt and turning one of them hermie. So i chopped off hermie buds and no more male flowers showing up.
Think i've got a mg def now, the leaves are clumping together and are getting thin. The tips of the fan leaves are brown with some of them curling upwards and brown spots. (correct me if i'm wrong, i posted pics of the leaves). i gave them some epsom salts, now just sitting back and waiting to see how they respond. When should they start filling out more?
