I have the oppurtunity to get a few boxes of these tubes from a buddy of mine. Are these going to provide a decent enough spectrum to be worth it for my plants? Or is the 2700-5000-6500 more ideal?
I decided to take them in, put a few seedlings underneath, they seem to be responding nicely. I wonder if this is rather inefficient though.I have the oppurtunity to get a few boxes of these tubes from a buddy of mine. I have other bulbs to use, I just got these for free But anyhow, I will probably take them out of the rotation until I figure out a use for them/.Very inefficient, didn't see your post earlier. Those lights will get them sprouted, and give them just enough that they'll hope and stretch. They lack the spectrum(s) your plants desire. 2500-3000 and 5100-7000. They'll sprout 'em for you, but you should really look at getting some new bulbs.
