Just curious, would anyone happen to know how the T-5's compare with 1000 w HPS? If I have one 1000w HPS light per plant, how many 4 foot fixtures each housing 4 T-5's would be required per plant to equal the same yield?
Furthermore, could you surround the plants with the T-5s hanging vertically? The reason I ask is because I have the HPS light hanging vertically between the plants and would like to do the same with the T5s in order to get the light to the bottom branches and make use of the entire circumference rather than using shields. This could mean that I would have to hang 2 light fixtures back to back or find some without a fixture, just the bulbs.
I grow my plants 5 feet tall. Thanks in advance.
