T5/CFL 40,000+ lumens Closet - Train Wreck,White Widow,Chemdog, + more

Been gone awhile, but now I'm back!!

Anyways, I've done a few good indoor grows ranging from small cfl grows in a cabinet to 800w HPS with 5 gal buckets.

Setup:
Veg/Clone Tent
*51.5" Wide x 22.5" Deep x 48.5" Tall Tent
*4ft 4 lamp High output T5 Grow light w/ 2 3000k bulbs and 2 6400k bulbs
*Seed starter dome kit with heating pad, initially to germ seed then will be used for clones.
*Party cups to hold clones through veg period
*FoxFarms Ocean Forest soil

Flower Tent
*39”x39”x79” Tent
*600w HPS digital ballast
*6in Cool tube
*6in inline fan and carbon filter
*12 inch pots
*FoxFarms Ocean Forest

Strains:
*Green House's White Widow
*Green House's Chemdog
*Green House's Train Wreck
*Green House's Super Lemon Haze
*Barney's LSD
*Barney's Vanilla Kush
*Dinafem's Amnesia
*Dinafem's Critical Jack

Everything is ordered and on its way now. Going to be growing just one of each (only ordered one seed of each so hoping for 100% germ rate lol) I have always had really good luck though not one seed that wouldn't germ in previous grows.

Other than that going to be very simple grow no additional nutes just PH balanced tap/distilled water mix. I've always had the best luck keeping it simple it seems.

Will update and post pics soon as the lights all make it in and I start to setup the closet.

sounds good ill be watching it sounds like u got some nice seed on the way cant way in the mean time im a first timer and i got 8 plant's one in flowering and the rest in veg i have been veging the plants for about month and 2 day hope everything goes well ur seed are all female seed right my r not so i hope i get some females up in here or im making some weed oil or something see u around

Thanks and by all means keep an eye on this journal, Im actually making some adjustments to my plans already. Ordering some grow tents and plan to use one for Veg/clones with my T5/CFL's and another for flowering that will either have a 600w or 1000w hps. Going to try and setup a perpetual system. Yeah my seeds are all feminized so as long as I get good germ rate and no hermi's/mutations I'll be good cuz Im just going to clone from there on out. Let me know if you post up a journal for yours and be sure to keep tabs on it, and be happy to help out with any suggestions or questions you might need.

not to bad how many seed in total? and i put all my babeis in to flowering i cant wait more longer but i knwo i still got a long way to go so... yea but 4 of them are 5 inc lets say ididnt measure latly and the rest are about 3 to for inc so wish me luck i hope i get 3 female or all of them would be nice but i dont think i would get that lucky on my first go at it lol have u started planting yet ?

Just 8 seeds total all feminized one of each strain, going to do clones off them from here on out. Havn't started yet waiting on everything to come in, just ordered the mother/clones/veg tent, seed/clone starter, and some retractable hangers today. Ill get pics up asap soon as I get started when everything comes in. Once up and rolling should be a nice little setup.. will be the best/most expensive grow I've done.

Good luck on urs ill be watching, hope all females for ya but long as you get at least one healthy female you could always clone.

yeah i might have to so i can get some bud running but i got a delama cuz im in college and im done in april so i need to make sure everything is done before then and i could use some exta money. is it just for personal or u getting rid of it

With all those 40,000 lumens, why not go HID? More bang for the buck. Not trying to start anything, just curious.

I'am if you look a couple posts down, Having a 51.5" Wide x 22.5" Deep x 48.5" Tall tent for veg/clones that the T5/CFL's (maybe just T5's) are going in, and then a 39x39x79 tent that will be the flowering tent that a 600w HPS will go in. I had initially planned to just keep this a small closet CFL type grow and not get back into growing serious but that lasted all of about 5 mins of being back on this site and in the game so now Im going to go at it a little more serious.

It should be fine just to find out the sex, but it wont be near enough for 8 plants. You'll either want to step up the amount of lighting you got or you can always do like I used to when I first start out with a small cabinet grow and keep them very small by using a party cup or similar small container and with some training you can make that number of lights work but your going to have very small plants with very small buds so crap yield but you can come out with some decent smoke for what you do have. It all just depends on what you want to achieve but bigger yields/more plants always require more lighting and more money lol...

Your first grow though keep it simple and cheap, maybe not try all 8 and just stick with 1-3 or so and make sure those turn out the best you can then next grow step it up a little as your learn.

yeah man i dont think ill get all 8 female and if i do i have a friend that has a hps setup the i maybe could used he said i ould be help if i got 3 females
