T5 Flowering...

I was wondering if anyone has flowerd using T5 flouro's i heard they work great for veg and i recently bought a 4ft 8bulb fixture to veg my next grow with but i was wondering how they were for flowering.... let me know thanks

you want somthing better to flower with really..
id just use them for vedgeing, and hps for flower..

ok i currently flower with 2 600w hps

I've done it with T5s overhead and additional cfls on the side. The T5s are more intense than cfls but they still need to be close in to the foliage. And they are harder to position. They probably work better for a sog or canopy grow than with larger plants. But if heat is a problem, they can do the job.

would there be a big difference if i put 5 of the 4ft 8 bulbs, 2 on top and one on each of the four walls?
