Update: 7 1/2 weeks into 12/12 light schedule.
I continued feeding 1/2 strength nutrients this week, but now my leaves have all developed major 'claw' syndrome. Too much Nitrogen I think.
I think I'm going to flush all four of my plants starting today. Is that a good idea?
The trichomes are cloudy/milky and a small percentage are amber maybe 5%.
My two oldest plants don't seem to be doing much. Pistils are mostly red, except on some of the lower buds.
Oh, my clones are all dead lol! No surprise there. But they did have a small root system developing.
As for the banana issue, I continue finding about 5 a day. I found one on a third plant, so... yeah. It is a hassle to scan 3 plants every day. Takes me over an hour. But I haven't noticed any seeds forming in the calyxes yet. I'm sure there will be a few in there though.
It seems like these last weeks are really dragging ass. I hope it's not too much longer before harvest!

It seems like these plants are really dragging ass. There are a lot of cloudy trichomes, and a few ambers, but there are still a lot of clears as well.
I began using plain water this week. Gave all the plants a good watering with a little bit of runoff.
-My upper and mid fan leaves began yellowing the very next day. Is this normal? I thought the lower leaves were supposed to yellow first.
I've had to tie quite a few branches to keep them from hanging down. I just tied them to the main stalk, which seems to work pretty well.
The bananas have shown up on all four of my plants. It is a real drag to continue plucking them off, but I'm not stopping now.
I don't know how much longer to wait before harvesting. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

i agree i would start to flushing em now if your trichs are starting to show amber and milky colors a trick i have always used is 24 hrs of dark before i cut em down i feel it helps the frost finish up pretty good and the few that were not quite milky or amber finish out

u said u were using t5 lights correct i am thinking about using them in veg i have a 600 hps ive been using for the past 2 years but want something more blue spectrum orientated for the next veg cycle i go through do they make a specific blue spectrum or more blue spectrum t5s or are they all generally an even distirbution

Yeah, I think I'm going to do the 24 hours of dark and let 'em get pretty dry too.

Actually i'm using tek-two lamps which are similar to t5's. They sell 3,500k and 6,500k bulbs as well as some with extra uv spectrum i think. HTG supply on Ebay is where I found them.

do you by chance know the watts or electical amount they use like how many kw per hour trying to see what way will be most efficient for next veg i do

Not sure about the Kw/h. Each of my tek-two lamps use 2 bulbs at 55 watts per bulb. The tek-two is great if you have an even canopy, but if your plants are different heights, or are very bushy, it's hard to keep the fixture as close as it needs to be.

Yet another update: 9 1/2 weeks into 12/12 light schedule. Not much to report on really. My mid and upper fan leaves are continuing to yellow and die. I'm guessing this is due to the fact that I've only been giving plain water for almost two weeks now. The trichomes are cloudy on most of the buds of my oldest plant, and there are a small percentage of amber on the mid and upper buds, maybe 5-10%. I have been sampling buds from this one, and I'm thinking maybe next week will be harvest time. I think I'll cut the tops first, and see whether the bottom buds finish up or not. The first plant to produce the 'bananas' seems to have stopped. I haven't found one in about a week. My other two plants seem to make about one or two a day, but my oldest plant is making about 10 a day. What a hassle! I'm quite close to just chopping her down now, but I'll try to make it to next weekend.

Ok. I couldn't update last week because RIU was MIA lol! But I ended up not chopping anything last weekend. I began removing the yellow, crispy fan leaves that had lost most of their green. My oldest plant's leaves all turned purple on the cola? And I also put them through a 48 hour dark period last week. Yesterday and today I chopped the tops off of my oldest plant, and second oldest plant, trimmed them, and now have them hanging in a closet. That is some tedious work!
I'm going to let the bottoms of those two plants grow for a while longer and see if those trichomes will cloud up a bit.
My other two plants are about two weeks younger, so I'll have to keep watching the trichomes on them.
The bananas have slowed down quite a bit, and yes, there is a seed or two near the bottoms of the plants. Oh well.
I have been plucking off a couple of buds a day and quick drying them for smoke, and I must say I haven't been this stoned in a long time. I can't wait to smoke the properly finished product!

7 months later...Just wanted to update, and say that I ended up with just over 6.5 ounces from the four plants. Not too bad for my first try I guess. I learned a lot and thanks to everybody for the help! Oh, and I ended up with a total of about 10 seeds. Actually kind of glad I got 'em. Using 'em on my current grow, which I will be starting a journal for within the next week.

Nice work man. I've been experiencing some of the same problems with PH. I have read in this thread a few people saying 5.8 to 6.5 is optimal. Let me clear this up. Hydroponics optimal PH is 5.8 while Soil is 6.5. Start watering your plants with 6.5 and you'll be good. I shoot for 6.3 - 6.8 with 6.5 being ideal. My two cents. I have also found that when flushing adding 15-25 ppm's of a light nutrient solution 1-1-1 or 2-2-2 will help move more salts out of your soil. Most salts need another molecule to latch on to to get them all out. Again my two cents that have improved my grow.

Thanks. I couldn't believe how tall those suckers got! Yeah I ordered one of those droplet PH test kits. It seems to work well for my little operation. PH is very important, as well as making sure to let your tap water set out at least 24 hours BEFORE testing/adjusting PH. I've been using distilled water on my current grow. That's interesting about adding nutes to help flush. Thanks for the info Grundle!
