that is the going price everywhere i have looked. the only deals are the ones that come with free shipping. i decided to go with mh instead.

Go to home depot or lowes and put your own fixture together for about half the price.....

there is no bulbs with that unit. might be why it is so cheap. most units i see come with bulbs

those are more expensive than a grow shop, and they dont seem to offer an 8 bulb fixture

Yeah the only other ones I see are about 220 to 260, I could suggest sending an email to one of the smaller hydro shops online and asking about a discount for buying so many at once.
The place I go to in person to buy stuff usually rounds things evenly like most headshops would when you buy a new piece. I don't see why they wouldnt do such a nice sized online order in the same fashion. I can't garauntee this method would work, but hey its worth a shot.
Other than that, it looks like you'll have to make some from home depot materials, or you can check craigslist or something.

I wish i could have got my TEk sunlight system for 290.....i paid around 350 (bulbs included) for my 6 bulb system. Was for my aquarium so i bought top of the line bulbs for that which, werent cheap. I think 290 for a 8 bulb t5 HO system is a good deal

True indeed but the way they give it up is, most of they're pricing is cheaper when compared to others. On top of that they give. 5-10% off when u spend some money and the discounts dont stop there, plus @they ship 4 free . If any body know of any other that meet or beat rsghydro please let me know.
