With the amount of uv-b those put out you will only be able to run them 5 hours per cycle for best results.. The zoo med flora suns have 5% uv-b so they can be ran a full 12 hours.

To every one else

You can do big plants, scrog or sog. I do sog and big plants. Of course to get the bigger and better quality buds. It's not just the lighting. Its the roots. Getting as much oxygen to the roots as possible. Aero, dwc, or if soil, air pots, smart pots, grow bags all breathe and air trim the roots.

With uv- a and high blue 420nm and 450nm. Not only does the plant increase trichome production for sunblock. Those wave lengths also increase co2 absorption on leaf surface and increase terpene production. In turn higher levels of thc, cbd, cbn, cbe, etc.....

In the led with out led thread. Theres plenty of different bulb selections being used. And good debates and pics and what not. Between me, uc, dwc, prof, altar, petflora, and who ever else im forgetting. Theres plenty to learn from. Unfortunately over a 100 pages were deleted from that thread though.

Ive done 18/6, 20/4, 22/4, 24/0. I like 24/0 the most. Tighter nodes, faster growth. Clones root in a week or less. Depending on strain, some when go into flower take off like no other.

24/0 is the way to go.

i keep coming up with stoner quotes. lol. what up hyroot? they are stiill over there (led without leds)

I would like to note that 24/7 means the same as 24/0. As in 24hr 7days a week...
