looking for some advice on these lights, anyone have any experience with them? I am trying to figure out how many will be needed to start out some nice, strong, healthy plants

I am not planning on doing a complete indoor grow, but don't want to do a complete outdoor grow either, since I haven't been able to get too many responses in the outdoor section I thought I would try my luck here.

I want to get some healthy seedlings started inside that I can put outside when it warms up a bit. I am looking at germing a bunch of seeds shortly and would love to get some quick advice

here are the specs on the box for my 24" model:

24 watts
2160 lumens

each bulb provides 6400 kelvin of perfectly balances full spectrum lighting, perfect for lush, healthy, green cuttings or seedlings

I have two SunBlaze T5 flouros. Simply put.... They ROCK!

I am gowing flouro, at first I was using 4 of the cheap "Grow lights" from wal-mart, a month into growing I had 3 nodes, and the plants looked like crap. I bought one T5 and the plants exploded to five nodes within the week (No exhaggeration!) Then two weeks later I bought another and daisy chaned it together. Now I am 26 days into flowering and my cola is two fingers thick and a little over 8" long.

T5's WORK! :peace:

that is what i have heard, any ideas on the bulb/plant ratio? i only need to get them strong enough that they will make it outside, as i don't have very much room inside.
There are four nursery trays which will hold 50 plants each on that shelf with a 4'-8 bulb t-5, mixed 1/2 red., 1/2 blue. Right now I am switching the bulbs from the four inside to the four outside being on every day and will soon turn the whole fixture on over them. The nice part for you would be after you are done screwing around outside you would still have a light that would allow you to grow some plants indoors, same light start to finish, less heat issues and logistically superior to hid lighting. looking good so far highdro, let me know how things work out for you... it seems we have the same idea. I am planning on starting inside and moving to my site in a few weeks to a month, want to let it warm up a bit first as we just got hit by a cold spell( went from it being 15-20 Celsius thru the day to 5-10 C...), just glad i didnt start earlier like i was planning to
