The advice about where to invest and place your savings so the US Gov't can't socialize our banks and prevent us from withdrawing all our money is take it or leave it. But it isn't like someone like you, you know, ignorant, backwater, internet troll, that kind of person... Not like you would know how investments work. Investing in Gold and Silver is terrible advice. So terrible in fact that while doing purchasing for a semi-conductor MFG in the silicon valley in 2005 I saw the cost of all metals begin to increase. I put my savings and 401K into oil, gold, silver, nickel, copper, and steel 6 years ago.Such a terrible idea. I think I only made 700% during that time while the rest of the economy tanked... Kinda nice to watch your money double, then double... then double... and start to double AGAIN!!!

Choose to ignore the facts, what is right in front of you, more for me. I am not going to advise anyone on what stocks to buy because I can't see into the future. What I can do is look at the world, understand the market, and invest my own money where I see fit. Just happens to coincide with one of the MANY messages contained in the video.

So let me spell that out, real clear like, so you cannot miss it. THE MESSAGE OF THE VIDEO IS NOT ABOUT STOCK ADVICE. The message is about the fall of the current economic system, the reasons why this will happen, the indications that it is happening right now, and what it means to the individual. In all situations there is a place to be where you get fucking shafted, and there's a place to be where you make a bunch of money. You can be standing knee deep in radiated water... or you can invest in radiated water filters. Just your life.

I think it is quite funny how 3 or 4 off topic posts come in, then someone says "What's this thread all about" in some poor attempt to devalue the OP and the information you have already verbally chosen to not to even concern yourself with. I've already summarized the video into a paragraph or two. If that's just too much critical thought for your tiny little mind and what few braincells remain then I feel little more than pity for EVERYONE in this thread.

You know, because you are all so busy trolling internet forums... How could you be bothered to do anything else? Like think.

Because that is one currency the world gets behind. Most of my money isn't in paper. I have enough of that to do what I want, and the rest I save is put in some good places. Land. Guns. Toilet Paper. Metals.

I'm not freaking out. I am prepared. Is there something wrong with being prepared? With warning people of what is an impending economic catastrophe. You probably don't have a savings, or money in a market, to be concerned about anyway. Fortunately, while America is falling apart my investments will be safe, offshore, in currencies other than the American Dollar. When everything recovers, regardless of how bad it may or may not get, I don't have shit to worry about.

It doesn't matter. It isn't like gold and silver are going to tank anytime soon given the recent unseen before printing of American dollars flooding the world economy with what is essentially paper backed by debt and a small stash of gold. When our creditors fail to save us the second time, and abandon the American dollar as the world standard, we will see how useful bullets really are. Personally, I don't think it is going to come to that around the country. Maybe in some areas... But when commodities are to the extreme it is people, like you and I, who are prepared to weather the storm.

I always, every time, see the humor in being attacked by people who are fundamentally a lot like me. Smoke pot, post online, have opinions... But the open minded intelectualism; or rather, the liberal attitude towards information. These are intrinsic qualities I find uniquely human yet condemned by this vocal community. How could you not at least take some time to watch maybe 30 minutes of the video to see if it catches your interest? How could any person think that every answer ends in a threat of .357's rather than a balanced and mature approach to the opinion of what is obviously another educated individual? The animosity towards imbibing an opinion and thinking critically for oneself about the opinion... To not even make it to the point of actually deciding whether it makes sense or not... It is dumbfounding. I think that is exactly why that word was made. Fucking dumbfounding.

To be perfectly honest...when the shit hits the fan...and the county is in ruins and people are fending for themselves...your "investments overseas" aren't gonna mean shit when there isn't enough food and water for our county. Violence exists....even in the most basic of cultures. It's part of the driving force of human nature. So when people are trying to steal my food and water...my big ass gun will put an end to that.

I live in the real world sir. I'm not worried about my money because I'm not some greedy scumbag that perpetuates the typical American rhetoric of "money, money, money" I don't know what you think is going to happen when our country collapses but expect violence, looting, and burning whatever money you have left to stay warm. I survive. Period. Money isn't required for survival. And that's all we are going to be doing is surviving.
