Taking clones from flower towards harvest

Hey everyone. My question is can successful ly take clones from a plant during harvest? I've serched and gotten mix results.. I really like this strain and the guy I got them from pasted away... I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.. I'm at week 8 of flower and hoping to at least get one clone..it's a gelato mixed indica..

That's pretty far along. I don't want to say anything can't be done, but that's gonna be tough. Better to reveg after harvest.

Thanks.. reveg.. I didn't think to do that..

Harvest, leave some branches with nodes, switch to 18/6 light, and wait. Next few nodes will probably have odd leaves. Singles, curly ones etc. Then it will eventually grow normal leaves. It's the hormone switch . Does odd thing it's to new growth at first.

I usually only harvest the top 2 thirds of the plant.

Speaking of odd things, don't forget to switch back to veg nutes.
