taking in plants from friend. 180 degree light cycle change

hey im taking in some bubba love plants from my friend because his room is full. my question is his lights came on at night. 9pm-9am..

my flowering room is set up 9am-9pm.. will this hermy my plants?
** forgot to add im going to do a 24 hour dark period. all the posts i could find are old. is this okay?

Are they in veg? I would think give it a dark period to reset it, and maybe it should turn out fine? I don't know. Maybe just stick it in your lights to give it a 24 hour period when you bring it over. So get it from him at 9am and put it under your lights at 9pm? Unless it's flowering then just take it from him when your lights are off?

Everything I have read says it should not be a problem. I did it to mine going from veg to flower. I am beginning week 5 and no visible adverse effect.

give it 24 hours of dark into your light cycle and they will be fine.
