Tangerene Dream outdoors in Sacramento. Why are my leaves doing this?

My camera sucks, so it's sort of hard to see in this picture, but as soon as the leaves start to get big, they start dying from the tips. Sometimes they even start dying in the middle. I have a hunch my soil might have been a little hot, but everything else I've planted in it is thriving.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks all for the replies. I pretty much figured it was nutrient burn. The only funny thing is that my Blue Dream is in the same soil, and it's thriving. I guess Tangerine Dream must be a little more sensitive.
