I did not realize the plant is more flexible when dry, I would have thought the opposite.thanks man, it's two screens and the top one is for support. I also don't scrog until I move them to flowering so I'm able to use it to hold branches down in the beginning. It's a delicate process to move them under the screen. I wait until the plants are dry so they are more flexible/forgiving, then i set my screen at about 3.5 ft.. You have to tip the pot over like 45 or 50 degrees and slide the plant under the screen at an angle. when the pot is where I want it i slowly set it down and level while supporting the bottom couple feet of the plant. I move in one plant at a time and set up both screens as I work from one side to the other. It works for me and creates a heck of a scrog! I had the plants in my journal veg for 6-8 weeks.
If I understand you correctly, you are actually bending the top 2-1/2' of a 6' plant when you slowly return the pot to an upright position.
