so only thing im not sure if leaving water under sun for 24 hours will remove chlorine
this type of stuff usually works well for freshwater fishtanks so maybe it will work for DWC

My RO came out at 0ppm. It made things way more difficult to keep stable and I stopped using it halfway through my first grow in favor on tap.u are absolutely right 5 stage replacement cost around 120 so as the new unit that comes with new filters(and god forbid if u have 7 stage then u looking at 140-160 in filter replacement )
But the idea of RO is that removes almost everything than adds back minerals and makes water alkaline
oooooowwwwww... I almost died, ive been trying hard to not laugh that hard because it hurts.
I still filter everything I drink though. but my ladies might be drinking it some

u sure its RO not RODI ? ( Reverse Osmosis De-Ionized ) thats the only time i see 0 ppm i use that for reef tank but RO is usually 6-7ppm if filters are newMy RO came out at 0ppm. It made things way more difficult to keep stable and I stopped using it halfway through my first grow in favor on tap.

are you sure you have both chlorine and chloramine in your tap? usually one or the other , not both.
if it's just chlorine, i would either 1. do nothing or 2. if you really want it out, just put an airstone in your water for 24hrs

was just a hydrologic stealth 150. The water was pretty clean going in so and came out 0ppm for the few months I used it. I only had about 1:1 waste water too. These are the things that made me eventually look at my tap water as an option. Glad I did.
Everythings "healed" by now, just dealing with nerve pain on the mesh while its building scar tissue. Coughing sneezing laughing ect puts pressure on the repair and irritates the nerves

Ive actually had less issues since I switch to my tap. That 0ppm RO was a royal pain in the ass to keep stable until about halfway through veg when they started getting decently strong nutrient. Now its rock solid the whole way through.
My water is better than average and I have access to very detailed yearly reports.
I would just get a multi test kit like this and see whats in your water. 200ppm is usually pushing it a bit, but your filter will clean some of that up.

Distilled, River or Rainwater are almost the only way can get your non-fluoridated water.
Honestly I would just do a run with it as is. 200 isn't bad and you can just download your provider's detailed test from the net that they usually do quarterly. KISS.

I actually returned the filter it was leaking and for some reason ppm went up to 250 and ph to 8,1 so not sure if it was intended but that descreases amount of food u can give wich is not a bad thing but i trying to find better filter

Two five gallon buckets with one or two gravity feed high end carbon ceramic filters will quickly filter rain water or any water source other than tap water without waste without toxins or bacteria. Water needs to be at room temperatures. This type of filter is about 120 dollars. You will have a product that is not full of toxic fluoride with heavy metals. Fluoride is a carcinogenic poison right, you all know this right, and plants absorb it readily. Fluoride also makes people passive and dims their thinking. RO does not remove it at all, neither does carbon.
