tasty led questions.

First question: WHAT LIGHT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND FOR A 3.3' by 2 feet deep and 4 foot high I can knock out the bottom so it's 6 feet high.

Second: I'm new to this led stuff so is there like a switch for veg and flower, also can I up the juice for more light or dimmer it, if it is dimmable would it be stupid to run it on full blast.

Third: how much crazier will it be than 252 watts of cfl, or can you give me a good comparison to something else.

Fourth: how great is the light penitration.
Last but not least I want a cheap electricity bill, would be great to run something even under 252 watts but it would kick major donkeys and get bit chin flowers.

The T3-1750 at 204W would do nicely in that space. If that's not enough, the T3-2100 at 245W. You'll see a big difference between them and cfl. Get answers from Rahz via the Tasty website.

T3-2100 would work really well in that area. Would defiantly recommend 6 feet of head space. Unlike CFL they will need about a foot of space between them and the canopy. They run slightly under the nominal current. I like to keep the CXB lamps running at a minimum of 50% efficient. I could probably get a few more sales kicking the current up but high efficiency is part of the sales pitch, and I feel good selling to others what I would use myself. There is a veg switch on all the lamps providing 60% max power. In your space it would be very appropriate to veg with it and even use it up to the 2-3 week mark in flower. At full power it will provide almost twice the PPF of a 250w CFL, but with the percentage of light reaching the canopy in the high 90s. Reflective losses will be greater with CFL. I think the difference will be very noticeable, both when turning on the light and when harvesting.

Thanks for the great info. If I purchase one it will be from you. How is the light pentitration. I just really want to get my bang for my buck. I just hate electricity bills. And want qp harvests

Let me get this straight when it's in veg mode I'll only be using 136 watts until I switch it to flower? Then it will be 245?

With driver efficiency and fan wattage factored in, about 144 watts in veg mode and 245 in flower.

As far as penetration, PPFD is photon density and the T3-2100 in a 3.3x2 foot space will be about 850 which is very nice.

If you're hoping for qp harvests you're going to laugh (in a good way) when you get your first yield under 250 watts of cob LED.
