i highly doubt that,
in fact the cat was probably heavily sedated, it would be almost impossible to do that without him bein knocked out.
and im sure there's not to much pain afterwords.
i love animals, but stop bein a drama queen

They would have to sedate the cats to do that. I can't even put a flea treatment on my cats without getting torn up. They act like the 3 drops of liquid are killing them.

hmm I love and respect animals as much as the next guy, and I'm a vegetatian. not trying to tout that just sayin, i hate judgemental arrogant veg eaters too that slam their beleifs in yoiur face.
and as long as the cat was sedated and I'm sure it was, i dont see it as THAT fucked up, WAY worse things are done to animals, this is a domesticated cat, it would probably endure more pain and suffering in the wild, or hit by a car, atleast it has owners that care for it, enough to pay someone to sedate and tattoo the cat, and feed it regulary and not make it catch field mice like it would have too. comon people alot of us have tattoos, they dont hurt as bad as nearly anything.
plus this cat was probly on special K or tiletamine, lucky puss, i wish they let me hit bumps of K before I got tatted.

Just because people own pets doesn't give them the right to treat them as the please. Do you think the cat wanted the tattoo? Don't you think the fact that they would have had to sedate him would indicate it's a pain the cat wouldn't want to consciously endure? There is nothing humane about this. It's wrong. When something doesn't have a choice in the matter. It's 100% wrong. You want to amuse yourself go dress your animals up in stupid costumes. Don't get them tatted.
