Teal flakes in DWC?

Recently started seeing some sort of teal flakes in my dwc setup. Also just added a chiller, that could be the cause? They look like flakes floating but are slimy when removed. Any help is appreciated.

are you using a formula with a silicate additive ? aka agrimineral 72 i believe. it can coagulate like that and float around the water. teal or green perhaps because of brand of nutes and possibly algae?

Sounds like you need a bigger airstone and DEFINETELY need to keep your water cooler. A chiller will definetely help you. Thoroughly clean your system completely and use some h2o2 to kill off any remaining nastys.
