I do not understand the Techna Flora chart at all? Can anybody who has this chart please explain what you use and how much you use and when you use it, meaning in seedling stage, veg stage and flower stage. Thanks

:confused:yes, I have all of those products. They came in a neat starter kit. I read where u do not go by the manufacture. you should use 1/4 nutes for seedlings and then work the way up, but it would be easier to find somebody that has used these before thought the seedling, veg, and flower cycle and what PPMs they used though out or if they used 1/4",1/2 or follow what the chart says directly. If that makes sense

any nutes that i or my fellow growers use always start at1/4 then work up. myself i usualy dont go any higher than 1100 ppm or so.
i will look the info over and figure something out for ya, and you dont need any nutes for the first 2 to 3 weeks of veg because there should be enough in the soil ( assuming you have decent soil? ) back in a bit.

i do see what you mean about the confusion. 1100 ppm seems way high to start a veg cycle. i would start at 1/4 then work up. also a way to tell if plants can handle it( besides looking at the overall health) is to read what the ppm is on run off. if it goes down it can handle more (slowly) the lowering of the run off means that they are drinking the mix up so if it slowes so do the mixes. i dont have enough experience with the hydro so i dont want to steer you wrong, but if i come across anything helpfull i will post for ya. just remember less is always better.

thing about dwc if you weren't aware. see plants especially marijuana in a hydro setup tend to treat the nutrient rich water like a buffet line. only taking what they need. because of this the water can build up with toxic levels of elements and nutes the plant isn't using as much of (as other nutes in the water). leaving these nutes behind and having the grower person keep adding full nutes will only exasterbate the situation.

some recomend at full strength one feeding, then next feeding is plain ph'd water.

now other just do 1/3 the max nutes but feed it all the time. this seems to keep those toxins away.

but no matter how you slice it in a dwc with res you should really look into getting clearex and hydro guard. clearex is going to help get rid of some specific nute buildups that are common, ie salt, etc. and breaks them into forms that are no longer toxic (use once every 30 days or so.

hydroguard is just an anti algea that is safe for the plants. i forget how often to use this, as i ordered my first bottle yesterday and haven't recieved it.

hope this helps
