I have been here since August. I am not in CA or Amsterdam. I am in my mid 50s, and have learned a lot, but I am reluctant to get to into pics or places or specifics. I have too much to lose, that happens when a person gets older. I have not missed a day of smoking since a certain 90 day period in 1981. I am a drunk, so I don't drink (today I have 80 days) and have had 5 years dry, 10 years dry, etc. But I stopped trying to include reefer in what I quit. It keeps me out of bars, when I wake and bake.

So..anyone can find my IP address here, correct? I don't mind the website owners knowing where to track me down, this is based in Canada, and I have a lot of Canadian friends on my depression support forum place. A gentle crowd for the most part. But can some state law enf. agency focus on me posting here, does the sergeant bring the cop a list of the guys in my state that are here, and watch posts? It is just another thing to be paranoid about.
I wish they would change the got dammed laws so I could talk freely. If they read this in court someday, I want to say I am not a criminal, don't steal, don't hurt people intentionally and work 18 hours a day 7 days a week taking care of my 90 year old former teacher who has had a stroke, and given me everything. I am at my best washing toes he can't reach (his toes...he doesn't reach for mine.) This is a placid place, and I smoke, and I don't want to pay others. I grow tomatoes, 3 types of basil, onions, parsley, dill, tyme...and heirloom varieties of non-genetically altered dewbage. Many generations. I don't sell. I give to adult friends, I don't want kids smoking like I did when I was 14. I don't have kids, so no one is having their welfare endangered.
Tired of being labeled a criminal. The real criminals are the liquor store owners who will be given the license to sell reefer. They are pushers. I can buy a 1/2 gallon of tequilla at 9 am, legally. I drank around the clock, so I know.

Anyway...Fuck it. I shall retain my stranger status. But this is who I am.

That is an incorrect statement. Private browsing only prevents the browser from downloading any cookies and it does not save any history. Your ISP and the servers you access still have your IP address. If you want to be secure in your posting here then you need to either use a proxy server or connect to the internet from a free wireless access point (like at the local mall). Even if you connect at a free access point like at a mall they still have your mac address and if they really wanted to could track you down, they could. I would say that if you are worried about being caught from posting pictures on this site then the only way to not get paranoid is not to post pictures.

ayup, yup, yup....

I thought it was too good to be true, but I still thank the person. I have had people at other places post my town, latitude and longitude...there is no real privacy, and guys who know computers like you know this. ayup, yup, yup...

I tell ya what, it is a sunny day, had rained brutally for 2 days, and my girls are out there showing their white hair wigs.

Congrats! (reads between the lines)
as for security the web is a perfect place for these fictional stories we share. not too sure about the law getting signed subpoena for something that may or not have been from your physical internet protocol address, let alone the mac id from your terminal.
I think that is a whole hell of a lot of run around for a small guy.
Don't get me wrong I don't dislike police, they area actually pretty cool. They have saved my life, shared beers, raced me on the freeway but also written me up on an 11357b (posession under oz, when I had been back from amsterdam like 12 hrs) Thats what I get smoking a jay in the truck with windows rolled down on Thankgiving while going to familys house.
Even told the CHP sheesh I just got back from netherlands, His reply was did you have a good time. (Jerk) but continued to say. Smoke at home! Saw him later that week sitting on his bike @ side of the road. When he saw me he brought his fingers to his lips like he was smoking a doobie. :)

Unless you've got a massive pot farm, which I highly doubt you would post here, you're fine. Just don't get too specific about anything and use common sense.

A lot of folks struggle with alcohol. I do.

Your post seems really standard. I have about 9 years on-line in grow sites and I have been extremely Out-Of-The-Closet on my identity. I am a mdeical person and I guess I could be on the standard list of Suspects. But I have not dealt my medical weed nor engaged in trafficking in any major way.
In 9 years of being rather open it was born out of the "Secretive Paranoia" that is what most grow communities live with. In fact it becomes rather hard to find friendship or solace on a grow site. For one a lot of folks are here because they are the square peg types in a round hole world, like me. It is also true that there are the small time growers that collectively supply the local markets all around the World.

So, at this point in time it is possible to be out in the open and like any revolution soldiers will fall. We are all soldiers in the Cannabis War.

So if this is really your coming out then you just met an old timer but not to this site. Welcome!

Organic Soil is my speciality. I mean real Organic Soil not some off the shelf bottle program.

Thank you sir. Yeah, someday the grandnephews will say, "Uncle Mylar was ahead of his time." "Yes. He served time too." haha. No, not yet.
I only have a few babies. I like a good tomato salad with basil and a smoke afterwards. Maybe before too. Yeah, I heard Willie Nelson say that weed kept him out of the bars. I don't miss the puking and the humiliation the next day, which was everyday. And with the internet, Oh man...I was sober when I got on line years ago. When I picked up the first drink, I never knew what I was going to say on line. Yikes.

I save every scrap of organic material and it goes on the compost heap.
I bought some bags of 'Espoma organic potting mix' to bring in the impatiens, and do some other things. It lists a lot of the fungi that is in it. I wouldn't know a good fungi from a bad fungi, but it seems to work.

Hey...I bet you would turn up 'New Riders O T Purple Sage' if it came on the radio. Me too. Peace.

Well, we are all on the Cannabis Road.

I am in California and have been Medical for 10 years so I am trying to be honest to that.

Lets see.. First grows are the best. I remember mine and I have shared in many on-line first timer threads. Second timers too.

Wow feeding the soil. Soil food web, Organics. That's burned into my memory.

On the security of any web site? Forget anonymity. Google and the CIA I believe ( maybe FBI or HS ) will be developing a real time recording of the Web system. That was announced a while back.

hehe I thought of more panic .. Okay also you can't trust your car because placing a tracking device on your car doesn't require a search warrant. Then also under HomeLand security we all can be investigated without much paperwork required. LOL there we go. Should scare a lot of folks.. The truth is the truth..

So the best advice for all is to come out and fight for Cannabis freedom in the USA.
If we are tired of being arrested because we smoke a plant that seems to be physically and mentally safe for the smoker then we will get up, stand up.. Now the mental well being of the non-smoking prohibitionist no-one can say.


In all the years. In all the posts. In all the drama.. I just decided to start trying to be free where it looks like Cannabis Freedom will officially start once again for the Whole USA. You all can Visit California you know :)
