hell people of riu, this is my first grow, it is in a converted cabinet, the plant is in a 1 gallon pot, not sure on the type of soil, maybe john innes or something like that, mixed with sum perlite, ph is testing fine, only using the one with the drops not a digital one, temps are around 78 maybe a wee bit higher when its hotter outside, to be honest i cant remember how old it is lol, i just recently repotted it (it was flowering when i done it, but it neede to be done ) i was giving it half the recomended dose of bloomer before i repotted, the new soil has nutes in it so i thought i better not use any just now, is this a good idea? or should i still be feeding it nutes?

so can any one tell me why the leaves are yellowing at the bottom? everything is looks good (i think) apart from they leaves, even the smaller newer ones at the bottom are yellowing, but its only the 3 finger ones that are doing this, it was doing this before i repotted before anyone says that its cause of the repotting

your plant looks pretty healthy, so no big worries. you're going to get some yellowing as the plant flowers, you just want to keep it from getting extreme. it's very hard to judge how much and what kind of nute to add when your soil has a lot of nutes pre-blended. i would keep up with the bloomer nute, but check carefully for nute burn - you'd see yellowing/browning starting on the outer edges of leaves. if you go too far with nutes you should flush with 4 gallons of water. if your plant gets too yellow you need to add a nute with more nitrogen then your bloomer nute is providing.

well there is two things i noticed. for one, you should have used sterile soil (the soil you have now you said has the slow release ferts in the soil) thats not too good. you want to control your nutes. your also flowering you look like your around 4 weeks. try taking 2 tblspns of mollasses or syrup and mix it with two liter and water every two weeks while flowering. to make a long story short of micoorganisms and root growth and so on your plants buds will double in size over a period of 3 days after watering them with the mixture. if you could change the soil. get the soil with no nutes in it. its all timed release and you need more control. besided that it looks like you have a good grow there

ok thanks man, would it be a good idea to maybe mix the nutes at a quarter strength and slowly work them up like i done when i first gave it nutes, the nutes npk is 6-4-6 i think (maybe im reading the wrong thing on the bottle lol) is this ok?

should i just use ordinary house hold syrup that you would eat? lol and let me get this clear, i should mix 2 table spoons of syrup with 2 litres of water and use it once every 2 weeks, can i use this right up till harvest or should istop a few weeks before harvest?

sure, start out with little and add more if they can take it. and as for molasses, yes the kind you eat, and you can use it right up until harvest.

Don't use any grow medium with nutes, way to hard to regulate. When using molasses the last two weeks of flowering use Grandma molasses only, it's natural and unsulphured. If I were you, I would consider re potting in something with no nutes in it all all.
