well i live in the lower northeast. and in october the weather is usually in the high 40s to high 60s.It depends on where you live really. In the deep south where temps will stay above 50 into December, if you started late they will continue past October. Most of those guidelines are AVERAGED.

No, affects width too. Plant late and it´s gonna think summers about to end (cause of shorter days) and then maryjane focuses all of it´s energy on producing buds and basically stops stretching..does planting later only affect the height of the plant?
