Have you checked out Growmau5 ? He does a whole walkthrough of DIY LED. I was just suggesting for the future you check out what those guys are doing. Nothing wrong with what you have on order, IMO you are getting your moneys worth for the speed and convenience. But if you can get a better value, do that.

go green seems custy. more info on the CEO than the products on their front page should tell you something

Yes I can try my knowledge is still limited even tho I am learning every day. The cob led advantages are it pulls from the wall half of what the watt equivalent (to hps) they put on the plants which keep electricity costs as low as possible without cutting back light power. They produce little to no heat which is ideal for growing conditions as well as not having that AC unit with a hps light which then again goes towards every harvest costs.
Now it all does matter on every persons individual growing environment but if you weigh all the pros against paying a good amount up front a lot of situations cob works out to be the best.

I don't see any evidence to suggest they ripped anyone off. They use that same case as a bunch of other companies, but I assume that's just whats available on a large scale from overseas. Same one Johnson grow lights uses. What are you basing that on? Don't listen to the haters. From someone who actually owns lights from them, I can safely say you will be overjoyed with their performance.

I set aside 5k for everything. Canceled gogreen order, researching this lumini brand another friend is talking about. He uses and his results are great. I just want to make sure I get a quality light that will last.

For a 8x5? You pretty sure you need more then 2 and more then 4 go green.i seen some one growing in a 4x4 with 4x go green. Good lights from what they say. You can also check out Plc led, they use a bit differnt. Tasty led really knows their stuff good one. Also people on here like the Johnson LED's as well.
I can be wrong here but for a 8x5 I think you you are going to need 8. No light expert but for full even coverage. You can always message them on the forums too, they will give you their thoughts and what they recommend.
If in 4x4 I donno think I still would want 4x of those lights for coverage.
But for the price and warranty and the 180 money back and over all good deal I think go green has a nice offer. But I do encourage to speak with the others. I know tasty uses reflectors instead of lens for example. He also uses the Cree 3090 they are bigger lights and he has really good par per watt as well, 3 year warrenty.

Lots and lots of options. I see a lot talk a lot about the Apache at600 that would eat your budget coming in at 2500$ each dos a 4x4 per light. But if you talk with sales rep I seen them throw a -500$ code at people so maybe 2k a light if they did that for you.
Also worth pointing out the gogreen are smaller in size compared to the Plc lights. If you message them they may also give you a coupon I seen -50$ ones from there.
I am only showing you options. Up to you to research them and find your perfect fit.

They're diy CFL and LED hoods. 
made from a white tub lined with foil tape and a baking cookie sheet with a plastic lid to house all the electrical and give a solid place for the moguls to set in. Also a cord and on/off switch.

You could maybe get away with 3 300w units in a 4x8 but in a ideal world where budget is no issue, I'd go with 4 of them or 8 of the 200w units. 8 200w will give you a better coverage than 4-300's but really you can't go wrong either way. You'll pay for your lights with the first harvest.

Thanks for all of that info, have a few days off, going to do some heavy research and pull the trigger and never look back. Want to get things set up on my next chunk of days off.

@JcV777 I don't know anything about gogreen. Growmau5 videos better just watch it on mute.. And i highly recommend Cree cxb 3590 chips. Take a look at my 3x2' (6 sqft) here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/4-cxb3590-36v-1-4ma-3x2.905012/ to get an idea for how much light you'd need. I just set it up 2 days ago. And temps & conditions are best yet.
