Turn down your light to 40%, no need to blast the poor seedlings with 640w of light.
Lower the intensity? Or the temp?Ahhhhhhh..scorching hot
Are you able to lower that..low 80s for led?
Its ok on the light spectrum to do that?Turn down your light to 40%, no need to blast the poor seedlings with 640w of light.
What ever you gotta do to lower the temp. 90s is going to be a problem.Lower the intensity? Or the temp?
You mean right into the flood table? In the cubes?I see that was answered while I typed. Next time just put the seeds straight into the hydroton. Save yourself the head ache.
I guess I don't know how your doing your final setup. I fill buckets with hydroton. Place the taproot directly into the hydroton. No cubes. Auto top feed and recoupe in a res outside tent. You mean right into the flood table? In the cubes?
Im doing flood and drain. I could have germinated how i did. Put the seed in a small rockwool and then into my 6 inch rockwool and straight into the tent into the ebb and flow. What are planning on putting the cubes in?
Ok. Everybody who has used them hated those damn cubes. They hold moisture around the stem and cause issues with rot.Im doing flood and drain. I could have germinated how i did. Two things that don't mix well for growing plants.Im new at this and being impatient.
Very trueTwo things that don't mix well for growing plants.
They look so sad... Like in some prison. The light looks way too aggressive and soils is too wet. I would give them natural light at this stage and keep the cubes just moist...What am i doing wrong?
I turned the light down. What height should it be at?Turn down your light to 40%, no need to blast the poor seedlings with 640w of light.
If you have T5s why not just start them under that? Probably wasting quite a bit of electricity running that large light for seedlings.I turned the light down. What height should it be at?
Really? Like just open the door to the tent? Or the window? They look so sad... Like in some prison. The light looks way too aggressive and soils is too wet. I would give them natural light at this stage and keep the cubes just moist...
I did have them under a t5 bulb. If they will be ok i can put them back under that light. Or just start over. I have more seeds. But they aren't free. LolIf you have T5s why not just start them under that? Probably wasting quite a bit of electricity running that large light for seedlings.
look fine to me.... your not being patient enough...or even close. How many days old are they ?What am i doing wrong?
Yeah man, they don't really need dark until they're flowering. I ran my veg tent with the door open for months until a buddy hooked me up with a bigger one that would hold all my stuff and allow the door to close.Really? Like just open the door to the tent? Or the window?
They are 4 days old. They are already stretching so far and about an 1/8 root has come thru the bottom of 1 of them so farlook fine to me.... your not being patient enough...or even close. How many days old are they ?
Put that light on the ceiling and turn it down to 20% or something. You need hardly any light to get them going and healthy. 1 single 9 watt home bulb is plenty of light for a week or 3.
4 days. Yes , you have zero reason to worry yet, everything is fine , just follow hydro instructions from here. They are 4 days old. They are already stretching so far and about an 1/8 root has come thru the bottom of 1 of them so far
