Ay whats up fellow members of the community? I have a major problem on my hands here and need some good advise. Im pretty late in to flowering, id say i got about 2 weeks left till harvest. Problem is i have a spider mite problem and its getting worse by the day... I have a spray that i know will eliminate the mites but i have a feeling i shouldnt be smoking buds with pesticide sprayed all over it, even if it is organic pesticide. Now, what would you do in such a situation??

Spinosad works really well and is safe to use up tothe day before harves, it's OMRI certified. I am on week 5 of flowering and have a mild infestation, I bought live ladybugs and they're doing their thing.

Oh yea! i forgot about lady bugs :) But do i really want a bunch of lady bugs running around my bedroom? You say the "spinosad" works well and is safe up to the day of harvest and its OMRI cert. Well the spray i use is called azatrol and it to is OMRI cert, do any of you think it would be safe to use on my plants at this point??

I don't know about azatrol. I'd go with the ladybugs though, even if the spray is safe to use when the mites die they stay on the buds. The only way to really remove the mites from the plant is to get the ladybugs to eat them.

Neem oil may be an answer. Three applications (2oz per gal topically applied) four days apart. But, be careful not to create a new problem while getting rid of another! If your strain is susceptible to mold then any foliar spray at this point in time may bring on an even worse problem for you. Spider mites are bad. Bud mold is worse.
