Just a thought....is your house duct work in the attic? if it is you might be able to tap off of that with a vent and have some control that way...better than a space heater in your attic!!

Most Pink foam board comes with a convenient tongue and grooved edge so they fit together easily. Depending on the temperature, I would recommend 1-3" Pink insulation board on the floor to buffer the roots. I would also shrink wrap the windows with plastic, and if it is really really cold, you could put foam board over any windows, and shrink wrap over that. I personally have my lights on at night to mitigate the cold, and have insulated the room enough so that the heat from the "on" period keeps the girls warm enough until the lights kick back on again. It is a constant struggle, and you have to be attentive, but a space heater is the last solution that I personally look for ;) Good luck :)

What bout a space heater?! Like one of the cheapy electric ones they have at goodwill, home depot, menards, lowes, or etc.

I would look at Goodwill or a similar place first.... but you have quite a few options. Otherwise Dice's suggestion on foam board works as well.

Thanks for ur replies guys forgot to mention that my attic hasn't been converted its an old build so I had to floor it and put up stud walls but my roof has lots of holes everywhere so there's loads of free moving air all the time. In the room the ceiling is fully insulated apart from the stud walls, I've got a little heater in there at the minute until I fix this problem but British weather stays cold for months thanks dice looks like the insulation board is the only option that's going to work, thanks for all ur help guys
