What temp. will kill or stunt the growth of some decent plants. They are about 1 inch out of the ground and its been cold around three days, and very windy. My question is. We have a place to move them inside for today, There is no light there.. so, whats worst for plants growth and living? Very cold and windy, or no light but good tempeture and venelation.

Pot will take a hard freeze to kill,it is tough stuff.Out in the wild pot is always green after everything else is brown, one way cops spot it from the air.Temps in the 40's will slow the growth but not kill them.
If you started them indoors and moved them outdoors, they need to be aclimated(SP) to survive the cold.Put a 2 liter bottle cut in half over them and remove them when the temps start to rise into the 50's.If it is windy you need to keep a eye on the water, they will dry out fast.
Keep them out doors and cover them and they will do better than moving them in and out.OPH

Weed will stop growing if the temp drops below 50 degrees, but will start right back up again as the temp climbs. For most folks those low temps are at night so it's no problem. yes, just cover them if it gets to a hard freeze level.

out. :blsmoke:
