Temperature

I have my plants outside in a garage, I have a very difficult time trying to keep it above 68 degrees. Will this really affect my plants during flowering when the temperature is around 55-65 degrees on a regular basis? I believe I read the buds will not get as big in colder temperatures? Thank you.

I am on a 12/12 cycle, but when lights are off it can easily go in the 55 range or lower. I don't know what to do. It doesn't seem to conventional to leave a heater on all night that barely warms it up anymore then it already was.

it might not be optimal but should be ok. The plants will let you know in time. Some strains do require colder temps to change colors, so it might be a good thing. Let us know how it works out. Good luck!

I bought a 5200 BTU 250 sq feet heater, but it doesn't warm up my area much. When it gets it low 50s usually I will put it on, but like I said I don't even know if its worth it. The space the plants are in is much larger than 250 square feet.

The sealed plant heaters are cheap and safe to run on the base of any grow box, they heat the box and plants not the room its in, much cheaper. They look like a two foot tube but cant find a link for one, also try a heat mat as well, warmer roots keeps the plant better in cold weather. Peace

So many people know so much more than I do. I too am faced with climate change. Bump up your heater if you have to. Save your crop. Go to your local hardware store if you have to. Do what you have to do.

Make a cage around each plant. When the light goes off put a sheet over them. That should create a bit of a thermo barrier I would think.

Just don't forget and let your light burn the sheets when it comes back on.
