Hello Everyone,

I have just started my first grow planting 6 Lowryder 2 seeds. My setup is as follows :
DIY Growdrobe
400w HPS Sunmaster Lamp
3 x 80mm PC fans
Carbon filter and exhaust system (top of growdrobe)
Passive Intake (bottom of growdrobe)

The plants are 10 days old and over the last couple of days have noticed that the edges of the leaves on most of the plants are just starting to curl up.

I am worried that I may not have enough air flow with the fans that I have as temperatures inside are between 30-32 degrees C.

As it's my first grow I am really concerned that somethings going wrong so any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks Guys

stores sell small portable air conditioners

you will need a humidifyer cause the air will get dry using the ac

they sell 20.00 dollar ones at wall mart or hardware stores

Whats the best way to lower the temperature? I already have 3 80mm Pc fans blowing directly over the pots and a passive intake at the bottom drawing air in. Do i need more fans or change the fans I have?

What are the ambient temps? How big is the space you're growing in?
It never hurts to have an oscillating fan blowing air around the room, keeps temps even and can lower overall temps as a result.
If you need to lower it any more, look into cooling the bulb, with a diy cooltube if you're on a budget or a proper air cooled reflector if you can afford it. How big is your passive intake? It should be slightly larger than the total of the exhausts in area (it's been said to use a slightly smaller intake, but I'm not yet convinced).
You might need a better fan to push air through your carbon filter, small inline fans aren't good at dealing with static pressure.
Hope I made sense...
