its best if you can mantain a stedy temp all around. cold tempswill cause slow growth. try to keep a 10 to 12 dergees temp diffrence between lights on and off. try notto let temps get below 55 degrees 60 if you canI just do not get it, at night my plants should only be 10 degrees cooler? Even in the hottest countries in the world in the middle of summer can drop to 20c my god some deserts reach -0 so I ask is this a myth

Kinda hard to beleive that UB would recommend 85 degrees in the light. Optimum temp for photosynthesis is 72 to 80 degrees. Go outside that range and you sacrifice growth.it's best to do 85 with lights on, 70 with lights off
In general, a 85/70F (32/16C) day/night temp is best for most hybrids for maximum carbo production. What's really important is a good drop in temperature at night, of at least 15F/4C. If night temps are too high, the plant will use up the carbos manufactured during the day to the process of respiration as opposed to plant cell division/elongation (tissue production).
