My 600W LEDs are hitting around 90F and im trying to keep my AC costs down because its been through the roof lately. Will those temps cause mad issues?

A long time ago I did grow with HPS where the temps would regularly reach upper 80's/lower 90s where it was not possible to vent any more and I adjusted the other parts of the growing equation to mitigate the heat and still had success. I am surprised that you have as high of temps with LEDs. Is it possible to remote mount the drivers if you already haven't? Or possibly get some better ventilation going?

I run around 630w in a 4x4 and even on the hottest days my tent only gets to 86-87°. I am venting my exhaust outside. The room I use has the air vent covered as I dont want it to get too cold during lights out. It just pulls ambient air from my house. When it gets real hot out (95°+), my house temp can get as high as 80° because my central unit is not that great. What 600w led are you running? Do you not run ac in the rest of your house?

Unfortunately its in a small bedroom with just a small window AC unit that isnt pushing much. I mean my power supplies are dimmable and thats the easiest way to solve my problem but i dont wanna diminish yield. Ill keep pushing for now and if i see stress ill dim the lights some. Better that then my electric bill draining my pockets with both central air and a window AC

Right. What I'm saying is if the costs are high now and you're already having temperature issues, what's your plan for when the temps go up much further during the peak of summer?
just gonna have to dim the lights at that point and take a hit on yield. Probably use the return on harvest and invest in a portable AC instead of a window unit.

Are you exhausting into the room your tent is in?

i run AC in my house as well but unfortunately the person who built this apartment unit cheaped out on the central air and its underpowered for the square footage. It can take a couple hours or so to drop temps after its turned on and even with the central air on about 72 the temps get up to around 82 maybe. So lets say a 10 deg difference with lights on vs my ambient apartment temps. Which is why added a supplemental window unit but yeaaaa my bill skyrocketed.

I have two tents in one bedroom which only has one window in it. I was thinking bout taking the window AC out and maybe trying to find a way to connect both tents to exhaust out the window. That way the heat isnt just getting exhausted to the room like it currently is.

This is the solution. It helps majorly with humidity as well. I vent my veg tent into my flower tent. Then through the filter and outside with a cute little dryer vent. Like I said, i had to close my central vent to my room

Ime window units blow real cold. Portable units, not so much. And you still have to vent outside
It does blow pretty cold but my problem is that my tents take up most the square footage in the room and the tent is like right directly next to the window. So it blows directly on the tent and doesnt chill the room like it should.
Heres a look at the room image.jpg

I thought LEDs were claimed to be cool running or at least the super duper ones.

600w HPS here and sitting nice at 82F with a lot of wiggle room should it get hotter.

i had them connected at first (but i wasnt venting outside). I had 6” tubing connected between both tents in the middle but i felt like it wasnt pulling enough from the second tent and i have a strong exhaust fan but i might have been wrong.

are you using 4” dryer window vent? I actually considered this before and bought the window vent with a 6” to 4” adapter but returned it
