Hi...is it acceptable that i have 29C inside the grow tent with lights on and 24-25 lights out? still optimal range no? RH 60% won't vary much...im considering getting a cool tube but my question then is won't the plants miss the heat from the light? mine seem pretty happy atm. but mid flowering still not sure about the end result why im asking...if getting the Cooltube and keeping temps lower will improve yields alot! thanks!

yes i know but i can't really get them to 26 or below since the lamp produces alot of heat and id liek to maintain room temps at 25C else its cold. the tent is on my living room and starts to get chilly below 25C. i reckon at 29C isnt a super big deal is it ? will the yield be much lower ? or what the big problem ? i can't find any info on what the yields are at higher temps. is it only the quality of the bud ? like terepenes and maybe less THC i reckon

To be honest my temps are unfortunately around the 29C in my flowering tent too because I'm unable to currently grow with any extraction running. What ive found compared to my grows with extraction where I could lower and keep my temps down is that i did get better quality buds and slightly higher yields and this was using the same strain. It wasn't a massive difference in weight, but i only grow for personal so only a few plants so any loss is negligible really, however if I was doing a large room full then it wouldn't be a negligible loss any more.

Even with extraction running, I live in a part of Canada where AC is uncommon and only needed during the depth of summer, maybe. My summer runs have tent temps of 30-32c, and I can’t prevent it because my fresh air source is coming in at 29c. I can vent until the plants are sucked into the fan and I’ll never drop it without running AC.

And, I don’t really want to run AC.

i used to agonize over it but other than occasional foxtail issues in a few of my strains, it doesn’t cause much problems. I’ve tempered it by running heat resistant Sativa during my summer run, and in return haven’t had to buy an AC yet.
