Tent AIR AND ODOUR

Hello, first of all I'm no artist but I'm proud to show you my sketch. Still trying to figure out which fan and filter I need for my grow.
From what i found se need to do these math calculations:

EUROPE (M³H)

Tent size: 1.20x0.60x1.70=1.23m³

1.3 X 60 (minutes) x 1.33 (25% filtre) = 103.74m³h

AMERICA (FT³)

Tent size: 4x2x5=40÷3=14ft³
  1. Is this correct?
  2. I have two fan's laying around, which sould I use?
  3. It's better to connect the filter direct with the cooltube? If so, the filter need to have the same diameter as the cooltube?
I placed the growtent in my basement where the temps are pretty stable in summer and I can connect one intake fan to the outside too so I can intake fresh outside air if needed(but i think my basement air will be more cooled than outside).

Thank you, peace.

You will want one exhaust line. Go from filter to light hood, then out. That way all air leaving the tent is filtered. A 6 inch or 152.4 mm fan with filter will do the trick. Be sure to get a speed controller big the fan does not have one.

If I use the two ways I will plug the cooltube in one end so it will just suck hot air out. I have a controller that work with the 600m³h fan.

Lots of good info in the link tinteastwood posted. The air you would be pulling from your room through the hood and out, would not be filtered if set up the way you have drawn your schematic. It would cool the light well, but you would have un-scrubbed air being blown outside. If you are somewhere where smell is no issue that would work. If you live in a populated area, you may want to ensure you exhaust is scrubbed to be kind to your neighbors

Use a second fan to pull air through the cool tube/hood, hook one end of the duct to the top Left side of tent then to the left side of the hood, then keep the one connected to the right side but disconnect the first fan from it and just push/blow fresh air from inside the basement constantly across the bulb :) you will need to make sure you still have negative pressure in your tent however (shouldn't be a problem) just watch out if u try to suck the air across the bulb as you might cause smell to pull through the hood into the basement, while also heating your fan up with the warm air
