Tent and lights

Does anyone have recommendations for a tent kit? Looking for something that works but won’t break the bank!

What's your budget? It would be a waste of time for someone to do all of this research for you just to turn right back around and say "I don't have near that kind of money".

Well I suppose my budget is what works the best. I got a light and I don’t think it’s strong enough so I don’t want to keep spending money on the same stuff. I guess I really just need to know the price range for one that I know is going to be sufficient enough.

No that's just the tent only. As far as lights just make sure you do your research and dont get a blurple light like I did. lots of options and information almost overwhelming to decide wich lights to choose.

Depends what ya wanna do man. You could get a 2x2 vivosun tent for 80 bucks. A tsw1000 light for 150. Cloudlind t4 humidity and temp controls in line fan 100. Or you could step up to a 4x4 tent 120 bucks, cloudline t6 for 150, two tsl2000 for 300 a piece. Really depends how big a setup. I only listed mars hydro brand lights because I knew them off the top of my head.

Vivosun is not bad, i have a lot of their stuff including a 4x2x5 tent i got for $140. Very sturdy compared to some of the others I have.

If you're on a budget, shop around. Just the other day I bought a secondary tent. Hydroplanet was the brand. 3x3x6 tent was $80. Their was only a few in stock, it's unavailable now. Great deal. Just put it together and although i don't feel the bars are AS sturdy as the vivosun, for a smaller operation with 1 or 2 lights, it should be fine.

I have a lot of different lights, but again, if you are on a budget. One suggestion would be Sunsystem 150W HPS. Cheap hps that produces well, i'm using 2 of them. Got them for $75-$80 each. Getting 8-12oz per run with 300w (4 plants). The cheaper Chinese LEDs will work as well, but won't roduce the dense nugs towards the end of flower. You will def get way you pay for with those.

Also the VIVOSUN/IPOWER lines of HPS/MH combo's aren't bad. 400-600-100W. COB and LED are both popular too, their is basically an endless amount of options for lights. Biggest thing is make sure you are going to be able to cool whatever light you use. The stronger the light, the more heat it will probably put off.

Budbox if in UK and the trusty old HPS
I've got the Budbox pro 1.2 white lining tent,it's the best overall that I've ever had,by far! Tent kits are a rip off in disguise though lol they will chuck all cheap branded stuff in for the rest of the kit.. like cheap light, extraction kit etc.. so I bought everything separately also based on the efficiency of the product later down the line..so I bought a hyperfan V2 stealth inline fan(fan only) abit pricey at £275 but it's an EC fan so WAY cheaper to run than an AC fan an also proper silent! BOUGHT a high end LED.. thats got the effecacy of a 600w HPS.. in all fairness it all cost double the price of my last kit I got altogether as a kit but running costs have gone down by nearly half the daily amount as what my last kit did, the things I'm most happy with is my PH PEN+EC PEN both bluelab..£150 for both meters but you get what you pay for..I couldn't ever imagine using anything cheaper than these now!

What size space are you working with and how much do you want to yield?

If you're talking about one of those kits that comes with the tent and everything else then I would avoid those. They usually come with undersized low quality fan and filter that you will want to replace anyways. If you do go that route I would suggest at least getting one with a HID light rather than cheap led.

Check out Green Architecture tents on Amazon, my 4x4x6.5 tent was about 100 bucks. Mars Hydro has some really great lights that are cheap for the quality. The TSW 2000 runs $260 but its worth it. If you get a smaller tent the TSW 1000 will work at about half the cost.
