Alright good deal man thanks! Should I pick up a cooltube and the 600 hps will be alright in a gl60?

and for the t5 h0s i have the option of getting an 8 tube setup which is 23.75 x 22.5 x 2.675 or i can go with the 4 tube setup which is 23.75 x 12.675 x 2.675 which would anyone recommend?

OK we need to keep your room temp constant which means we can not vent the heat from your closet to your room or it will just heat up and your temps will start out fine and steadily increase. what is behind the back wall of that closet? If we can vent your closet properly you can run what ever light you want... even a 1000w HPS. let's get this fixed and start growing.

Let's not worry about the lights right now, if we don't figure out how to vent the heat, the light becomes a moot point because yopur plants will die.

For sure makes sense, the wall i took a picture of is an outer wall, the wall to the right of the closet picture backs up to my kitchen

Ok then. We want to run as short as possible a duct to vent to the outside. I would not do this with out a carbon filter. let's start drawing it up. Can you use Paint (the windows program) to label a drawing I post? we want to get to something like this:

Also keep in mind that once you go to flower we need to make sure the tent (GL60 Right?) is light tight with negative air preasure inside compared to the outside room.

yeah what do you want me to label and in your drawing is the right side the tent and the left side the closet with the tent close to the wall

and yeah i have 2 gl 60s

Ok here is what we have.

In the diag we know the following:
A = 72* (this temp is the single most important it must not go higher)
B = ???CFM
C = ???w
D = -50CFM
E = 85* (Must be at or below)

Don't worry about the fan and light those will take care of them selfs you now need to determine how to keep the exhaust heat from affecting A.

keep in mind the longer the duct run the more CFM we will need, also ducting needs to be as straight as possible.

Think about it and bring us a plan.

let me start off by saying thanks for all your help bonzi! alright most of that makes sense should i go with 8 bulbs of the t5s or 4 and how many watts would you reccomened on the hps 20100709%20Room.jpg
also will the carbon filter fit inside my tent with a light fixture the fixture alone is like 22 inches long unless i can curve it around inside the tent and as for the fan what would you reccomened

for sure ill go with the 8 lamp before i go cutting a hole in my wall how do i screen it off from bugs

do i need a ballast to run the 960293 SUN BLAZE T5 28 FIXTURE - 2 FT (8 LAMP) or is it built into the fixture
